Since 2019, we’ve been telling the story of a 2nd-century PCG. Characterized by the unity of One Mission—One Movement, our Story is being Written even now. But what exactly does it look like? What should it look like in the future? When we gather together in Phoenix, Arizona this summer, we will bring resolution to the thematic declaration we’ve been working toward at each of the last three General Assemblies:

ONE...STORY...WRITTEN...FOR ETERNAL IMPACT.

With that in mind, each of this year’s three issues of the Pentecostal Messenger will emphasize a different component of our theme, beginning with “One Story.”

In this issue, we’re doing something a little different. We wanted the very structure of the magazine itself to reflect a story and present a clear thematic challenge to each reader. Therefore, one continuous message will be presented in the beginning, middle, and end of the magazine, while each regular column or article inbetween will serve to illustrate that message. In sum, we endeavor to creatively reflect on the story and impact of “One Mission—One Movement” for a PCG 2.0, remembering in the process that, regardless of where we may find ourselves in this present moment, we are still...

  • “A global church with a global mission.”
  • “A multi-ethnic, multi-generational church.”
  • “Pursuing His presence and proclaiming Bible-truth in real time Pentecostal power.”
  • “Impacting eternity by the power of the Spirit.”
  • “Excel-erating our missional pace toward a Decade of Harvest.”
