In This Issue

Throughout 2024, we have sought to share updates from the three arms of ministry operation for the Pentecostal Church of God—beginning with Global Resources, followed by Global Missions, and now concluding with Global Ministries. Together, we are unified under the headship of Jesus Christ, the banner of “One Mission—One Movement,” and our collective missional goals for a “Decade of Harvest.” Together, we will reach 100 nations with the Gospel, develop 10,000 ministers and churches, raise up 10,000 next-gen leaders, and witness 1,000,000 believers around the globe. The goals are lofty, but in this issue of the Pentecostal Messenger, we are excited to share some of the progress we’re experiencing.

In every ministry department, laborers are continuing to work in the fields by planting, watering, and preparing for harvest. Women’s and men’s ministries are producing the finest of resources to empower for service. Through Summerfest, Encounter Conferences, training webinars, and missions endeavors, student and college ministries are equipping the next generation to make a worldwide difference. And as we witness in one of the featured articles as well as in the endorser’s column, chaplains around the world, both civilian and military, are gathering in biblical community to wage war against spiritual darkness. Even though “Impact Eternity Month” is now behind us—our annual September initiative to inspire every person, church, and nation to engage in mission—the underlying challenge remains just the same: Pursue God’s Presence, Contend for Mission, and Grow the Church! The result? Well, as our executive officers remind us in their standing columns: The ravens won’t steal our lunch if we continue to sow seeds in the dry ground.

We are One Mission. We are One Movement. We are PCG.
