God's Secret Weapon

“Faithful is He who calleth you, who also will do it” (1 Thess. 5:24).

What a powerful promise! God is the One who calls, and God is the One who does it! Our calling originates in Him and is completed through Him. Of course, the real challenge sometimes rests in identifying what God is calling us to do. Thankfully, the starting point is simply taking our ability and availability and giving them back to God. Actually, what a great definition for calling!

We take what God has given us and give it back to God! We take our time and talent and treasure and give them back to God. If we’re talented in business or administration, we give that back to God. If we’re talented in marketing or branding, we give that back to God. If we’re talented in music or the arts, we give that back to God. Whatever God has given us, we give it back to Him.

Actually, this underscores the difference between a career and calling, which are not the same thing. A career makes the world a better place, but a calling makes the Kingdom a better place. A career allows us to do something of earthly significance, but a calling allows us to do something of eternal significance. Candidly, when I reflect on the 21st Century Church in our modern time, I remain inspired and encouraged because of the powerful potential of God’s calling that rests upon every Christ-follower. On the last night of our 2022 Global Conference in Manaus, Brazil, as I looked out over an auditorium of approximately 15,000 people (a multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-generational church), I realized that God already has a secret weapon! God has a secret weapon that has been forged in the caves and secret places of the Kingdom and the PCG. A secret weapon that is present and accounted for in church buildings and homes and under tin roofs and trees all over the globe! A secret weapon that is ready to destroy the works of darkness and possess the promises of God.

God has a secret weapon, and that weapon is YOU!

Even with the devil seeking to distract the Church with cultural chaos and deadly diseases, he can’t seem to figure out that God has already prepared a secret weapon for these last days of the last days! A secret weapon that has been reformed and renewed for this urgent chapter of divine harvest! A secret weapon that will crush the head of Satan and elevate the glory of God! The devil has underestimated this precise moment in history where multiple nations and cultures and generations of men and women are able and available to walk worthy of their calling.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have hope in this present world because God’s secret weapon is YOU, and “faithful is He who calleth, who also will do it”! Amen and Amen!

Why do we have hope for a 2nd Century PCG? We have hope because of YOU!

• We have hope because YOU are the priesthood of all believers!
• We have hope because YOU are a temple of God to the world!
• We have hope because YOU will march around the walls of your city and shout with a great shout!
• We have hope because YOU will charge down the hill with a rag and rock in your hand!
• We have hope because YOU will conquer the devil rather than capitulate to him.
• We have hope because YOU will thrive and not just survive for your generation.
