PCG missionary to Panama, Bob Wilson, works to provide resources, establish churches, and facilitate educational experiences in Canas Verdes in Northwest Panama. This outreach serves hundreds of Ngobe Bugle families and seeks to uplift this people group in spiritual formation and humanitarian resources.
Casa dos Filhos in Brazil, led by missionaries Aldair and Hillary Queiroz, is an after school program to provide tutoring, activities, and snacks to children.
The PCG representatives in the Middle East regularly ship and transport bibles to various places in this region. Within the past three years, there has been over 80,000 bibles delivered with about 1200 people requesting bibles weekly.
The vision is to keep the family together, that a child should not have to be separated from his biological mother. Operated by missionaries Per and Abbi Akvist, Mercy House provides support through providing spiritual formation, education, basic necessities, and training programs to struggling families in Ethiopia.
Honduras has two new church plants, overseen by missionaries Les and Charlene Melton. One church is located in a small village and will cost $7,000 to build a 24 x 40 ft concrete building with a steel roof. The other church is in a more populated area with the cost of land being $5,000 and the 30 x 50 ft building costing $7500. Any offering is deeply appreciated!
There are three newer congregations in Guatemala that already have land and are in the process of raising the walls. Missionaries Les and Charlene Melton would like to be able to help them build the roofs (cost $3000). They are all three in the tribal area of Guatemala where there has been tremendous church growth in the past six years since the Tribal Bible College opened. In fact, 40 new churches have been birthed in this area.
Missionary Walter Nutt is helping coordinate construction efforts for several churches. At the Torre Fuerte Church, there is need of a bathroom and septic tank, as well as funds for walls and flooring (cost of $5,000). The Jehova Jireh congregation needs a roof for its parsonage (cost of $4,500). Sucre PCG is in their next phase of construction with $7,000 left to finish their goal, and the Bible Institute needs $2,000 to complete the work on its building.
Buildings have burnt down in Wauteck, California and Bouge Chitto in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Both locations are in need of structural repair and could use financial assistance. For donations, please write WAUTECK and / or BOUGE CHITTO in the comments section.
